Carl E. Watkins age 78 of Bloomington, IL formerly of Boston, MA passed away at 8:33 AM on Monday, October 9, 2017 at his residence. His graveside service will be 1:00 PM Monday at St. Vincent Cemetery, LaSalle, IL with military rites accorded. Fr. Paul Carlson will officiate. Arrangements are being handled by Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL.

Carl was born July 30, 1939, Boston, MA the son of Glenn E. and Ethel Watkins

Surviving are 5 children, Tim Watkins, Oglesby, IL, Sue Watkins, Bloomington, IL, Chris Bierbrodt, Clinton, IL, Debbie Arzola, Bloomington, IL, Melissa Watkins, Hawaii, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.

He is preceded in death by his parents 1 brother and 1 sister.

He was of the catholic faith. Carl was a US Army veteran, he served his country faithfully.
